F100 would like to provide you with further detail on our plans moving forward.
The 2017 season has presented some unique challenges. Below are some of the solutions F100 has devised as we close the 2017 season.
PRICING FOR F100 SOCAL CHAMPIONSHIP - Our mission is to provide an affordable race series with no compromise on product or competition. Therefore, F100 member pre-entry will remain at $69. However, both the Non-Member and member at track entry price will increase to $99. All discounts, including the First-Time Racer Discount and the Bring-a-Friend Discount, still apply. F100 Membership will remain only $69, and is discounted in the middle of the season, meaning that racers can now pick up an F100 Membership for only $39 for the remainder of the 2017 season!
2017 F100 SOCAL CHAMPIONSHIP - As huge supporters of the karting community, F100 was devastated to announce the cancellation of the F100 SoCal Championship race at Apex Karting Center on July 22nd. F100 is excited to announce that the December 2nd race at Grange Motor Circuit will now be added as the Final Round of the 2017 F100 SoCal Championship!
DELETION OF CLUB CHALLENGE - F100 loves supporting our local clubs, tracks and race series, and the Club Challenge was a great idea to help achieve this goal. Unfortunately, the Club Challenge races have not worked out as hoped. We realize the Club Challenge was also confusing for racers, and we feel cancelling the Club Challenge will help alleviate this confusion. In 2018, F100 will continue to look for new ways to support our local clubs, tracks, and series.
F100 CALIFORNIA SHOOTOUT - The California Shootout will now be a one-day, stand-alone event on Saturday, October 28th. Come join us at this fun and ultra-competitive event with numerous prizes- including cash! More announcements to come.
TAG CADET - F100 wants to provide Cadet racers a place to race. In order to do this, F100 will add a new FC1 TaG Cadet class for Mini-Swift and Mini-Rok engines! This new class will go along with the current FC1 Comer class, for Comer 80 engines, as the 2 Cadet class offerings from F100.
BOARD - F100 is introducing two new elements to the F100 decision making process. First, more kart enthusiasts have been involved in the decision making process. Second, F100 is introducing a Racer Advisory Board, comprised of 3 to 5 racers voted in by their fellow racers each year. This Racer Advisory Board will provide feedback and comments to the F100 Board of Directors. This will help streamline the process of receiving racer feedback and implementing changes designed to address the feedback received. More information on the Racer Advisory Board coming soon!
MORE RACES IN 2018 - F100 has been hard at work preparing for 2018. We have some very exciting plans, including new tracks and locations (TBA), more races and even new classes. Exciting announcements coming soon!!
WEBSITE - Within the next few weeks, F100 will unveil a brand new website that is both more user friendly and more visually appealing.
