The Formula 100 Karting Series - Status Update

Dear F100 Racers,

Following the event last weekend, I’m sure many of you are wondering about the status of The Formula 100 Karting Series.

First, I would like to sincerely apologize for the cancellation of the race at Apex on July 22nd.  I understand this caused a great deal of disappointment and was a significant inconvenience to you all, and for that I sincerely apologize.  Like F100, each racer puts a great deal of time and effort into an F100 race day, and I would like to sincerely apologize for my inattention to the dedication, effort and energy that all of you show to F100.

As most of you know, our dedicated karting community came together and the event at Apex went on.  The event captured the full spirit of F100 with fantastic racing by dedicated and passionate racers who banded together to have a race day despite obstacles.  The enthusiasm and energy shown for F100 by all of you was fantastic and a testament to the success of F100's mission.  F100 is by Racers for Racers, and the Apex event was a testament to this.  This show of unity is akin to how F100 started and has succeeded for so long and the fact that after all these years our racers still feel the same desire and passion for F100 that was present at the beginning is a great indicator for the future of F100.  Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the Apex event happen - your dedication and efforts are greatly appreciated.

The vision and intention of The Formula 100 Karting Series has and will continue to be one that encourages and nurtures a fun, competitive, and PURE RACING experience.

I am excited to announce that F100 has brought together experts in the karting community to assist in building from our solid foundation to provide each of you with the uncompromising racing experience you deserve.  This Board of great people and fellow racers will assist in the management of the series to ensure F100’s success as the series grows and continues to build momentum toward the future.

I hope you will continue to support The Formula 100 Karting Series and enjoy the PURE RACING experience F100 has always intended to provide.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The status of The Formula 100 Karting Series is as follows. Currently, the race schedule REMAINS EXACTLY as previously published on F100karters.com. We will have announcements in the coming weeks.

Please stay tuned for information regarding our event last weekend.

Sincerely,

Sebastian Bacon
President - The Formula 100 Karting Series
