F100 SoCal Round #3 Recap

Another exciting day of racing at Adams Motorsports Park at F100 SoCal Round #3! Each race featured excellent on track action, with clean and hard fought battles throughout the day! After 3 rounds of racing in 2016, the points battles are heating up in all classes, with many racers within a few points of each other! Congratulations to all racers who participated at F100 SoCal Round #3 and a special congratulations to those who ended the day on the podium!

F100 SoCal Round #3 is SATURDAY, MAY 14th at Adams Motorsports Park in Riverside, CA! BE THERE!

After a record turnout and some excellent racing at F100 SoCal Round #2, F100 is excited for F100 SoCal Round #3, to be held Saturday, May 14th at Adams Motorsports Park in Riverside, CA! F100 will run the track in the counter clockwise direction (backwards). Click here to see the track layout. F100 expects another large turnout in the traditional F100 Senior and Masters classes, as well as continued growth in all the other F100 classes. You don't want to miss it!

Adams Motorsports Park will host open practice utilizing the layout F100 will use at Round #3 on Sunday, May 8th. Please call Adams Motorsports Park directly for more information on track layouts and practice availability, (951) 686-3826.

Pre-entry is NOW OPEN. Pre-entry closes THURSDAY, MAY 12th at 11:59pm. PLEASE NOTE that in order to take advantage of the special entry and tire package available through pre-entry, member racers will need to pre-enter and select this package prior to THIS SUNDAY, MAY 8th at 11:59pm. This special tire and entry package will not be available after this date, and this package is only available to 2016 F100 Members. Please see the following link to pre-enter:



F100 is designed to provide a competitive, fun and cost-effective racing environment for all our racers. F100 firmly believes in clean and safe racing on track in order to ensure that all racers are able to compete on a level playing field in order to maximize racing fun and limit expensive repairs. Along with the large turnout expected in the traditional F100 classes for Senior and Masters aged racers, F100 has made a few changes to the race day program that are sure to improve the overall experience and promote further growth. F100 has added a new Cadet class, FC1 Comer Cadet, for Cadet aged racers with the popular Comer 80 engine! F100 will allow the use of the Vega FH tire in the FC1 Comer Cadet class, to make it easy for racers racing their Comer 80 in other series to come and race with F100!

Along with the addition of the FC1 Comer Cadet class, F100 has also changed the race day structure for Cadet aged racers. The new structure, consisting of one warm-up, one qualifying session, one heat and one main event, will provide ample track time at a much lower cost than other series and will allow racers to spend less time at the track race day. F100 SoCal 2016 Round #3 will be the third race for the new F100 spec tire for Level 1 classes, the Maxxis SLR. Racers in the FC1, FJ1, FK1, FK1 Masters, FJ125, FK125 and FK125 Masters classes will be required to use the Maxxis SLR at this event and all F100 SoCal events during the 2016 season. Racers in Level 2 classes may continue to utilize a large variety of approved tires. Please see section 5a of the F100 SoCal 2016 Rule Supplement for a list of Approved Tires for Level 2 Classes.

F100 SoCal Round #2 Recap

A record turnout of nearly 80 racers showed up to compete at F100 SoCal Round #2! With 22 racers in FK2, 23 racers in FK1 Senior, and 18 racers in FK1 Masters, as well as solid turnouts in the Cadet and Junior classes, the fields were packed and competition was fierce all day! Each race featured excellent on track action, with clean and hard fought battles throughout the day! Congratulations to all racers who participated and a special congratulations to those who ended the day on the podium!
