Quick Guide: SoCal Championship "Additional Practice"

When F100 first started, F100 offered a unique morning practice session known as "Optional Morning Practice."  Racers could show up to the track early and go out on the track for practice before the driver's meeting and before the first official practice session.  As F100 grew, optional morning practice went away. But now, optional practice is back!

Additional Practice is like the old optional morning practice session that diehard and longtime F100 racers remember, with a few minor but very important differences.  Additional Practice is optional, so racers can choose to participate or not, with no penalty.  It occurs while registration is ongoing, so racers wishing to participate should show up at the track as early as possible. What is different is that Additional Practice is done by group only.  This means that there is NO INTERMIXING OF GROUPS, PARTICULARLY AND ESPECIALLY AGE GROUPS, DURING ADDITIONAL PRACTICE. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.  Racers may only go on track with their appropriate group, particularly only with racers in the same age group (i.e. Cadet, Junior, Senior (Senior includes Masters and Grand Masters).  It is the responsibility of each individual racer to ensure that they are on track with the correct age group and that there is no intermixing of age groups.

Additional Practice has sessions for Cadet, Junior and Senior aged racers.  That's three (3) separate and distinct Additional Practice groups for racers to enjoy.  RACERS MAY GO ON TRACK ONLY WITH THEIR APPROPRIATE GROUP.

With the advent of Additional Practice, F100 now provides even more value to racers looking to have an excellent day at the track!
