Quick Guide: How to Familiarize Yourself with F100 Rules

F100 has released a Quick Guide to help racers utilize and familiarize themselves with the F100 Rules. The Quick Guide walks racers through the various documents and how they are utilized to form the complete F100 Rule Set.

Since its inception, F100 has utilized the NKA Trakbook for its basic rules and provided its own set of Supplemental Rules. The NKA Trakbook is an insurance provided set of rules that lay the foundation for hosting kart racing events. The Supplemental Rules are rules specific to F100.

For 2017, F100 has tried to simplify how the Supplemental Rules are used by breaking the rules into different documents - one for engine supplemental rules, and another for general supplemental rules. Along with the Supplemental Rules, F100 also has specific Class Structure documents for the various series that detail specific engine, pipe and weight combinations in the various classes.

For those curious, while it may be easier to have a single document that contained all rules, F100 is not its own insurance provider. F100 must utilize the basic rules provided by its insurance provider and then write supplements for specific rules. By breaking down these supplements into different documents, F100 hopes to provide a more user friendly set of rules for racers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we hope this Quick Guide will help racers navigate through the Rule Set more easily.

We hope the Quick Guide, linked below, will prove helpful to racers:
