F100 SoCal Class Structure Changes for 2016

F100 Class Structure Changes for 2016:
  • FK1 Advanced has merged with FK1 to form the new FK1 Senior class
  • o   This class utilizes the HPV/KPV 4 and the KT100 approved open pipe engine packages (HPV/KPV pipe choice determined by racer voting)
  • FJ1 Junior class will use 7.10 rear tire size only (tire size choice determined by racer voting)
  • Comer 80 has been added to FC2 class
  • o   200 lbs unrestricted
  • Addition of FJ125 class for Junior aged racers with 125cc Parilla Leopard or PRD Fireball engines
  • Addition of RESTRICTED 125cc TaG engines to Level 2 classes
  • o   FJ2 and FK2
    §  Extensive testing of restrictors has been conducted to ensure parity of engines.
  • Addition of JICA engine to FK2 class
  • o   Allows for larger competitors to race with F100 without feeling underpowered
    §  440 lb weight limit with JICA engine
  • Spec tires for Level 1 classes is now the Maxxis SLR
  • PRD engines
  • o   Clutch stall speed is 6500 rpm (subject to clutch stall speed test)
    o   Flex pipe length is a tech item (same specs as Leopard) 

THESE ARE THE BIGGEST CHANGES, VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING ELSE IS THE SAME AS 2015!
