Due to recent limited availability of new Bridgestone YLC 6.0 width rear tires, The Formula 100 Karting Series will allow the use of 7.10 width Bridgestone YLC rear tires in its FJ1 class. 7.10 width rear tires were already legal for use in the non-points FJ2 class. This means that 7.10 width rear tires are now legal for both F100 Junior classes.
As soon as availability of new Bridgestone YLC 6.0 width rear tires increases, F100 will revisit this issue and make a more permanent determination. For now, 7.10 width rear tires are legal for both FJ1 and FJ2.
The spec tire for FJ1 remains unchanged (Bridgestone YLC). FJ2 will continue to run under the "approved open tire" rule. Please see the 2015 F100 Rule Supplement for more information.

On Saturday, September 5th, F100 SoCal heads back to Calspeed in Fontana, CA for Round #7 of the 2015 season! After 6 excellent rounds of racing, the points battles are heating up. With many fast racers vying for a 2015 F100 SoCal season points championship, the racing on track at Round #7 is sure to provide fun and excitement for racers and fans alike! F100 SoCal Round #5 is SUNDAY, JULY 12th at Apex in Perris, CA!
On Sunday, July 12th, F100 SoCal heads to Apex Kart Track in Perris, CA for Round #5 of the 2015 season! This is the only official F100 points race that will be held at Apex this season. We expect an excellent turnout and excellent racing! You don't want to miss it!
