Shifter Kart Championship Race at Calpseed on SATURDAY, JULY 2nd! CR125, KZ, Mod Moto, 80cc, DD2 ALL WELCOME!

The Shifter Kart Championship (SKC) is racing SATURDAY, JULY 2nd at Calspeed in Fontana, CA. The SKC is a Southern California based traveling kart-racing series designed to provide an affordable, fun and competitive racing environment for shifter kart racers of all ages and experience levels. All races are run in conjunction with The Formula 100 Karting Series.
Although the majority of SKC racers utilize the Stock Honda engine package, SKC has a spot for almost every shifter engine in our one equalized and highly competitive class, which is perfect for new and experienced racers alike. If you have an ICC/KZ, mod moto, a stock CR125 or a stock engine other than a CR125 then we have a spot for you!
The rules are open enough to allow racers to enjoy shifter kart racing as affordably as possible, while also placing enough limits on allowed items, including tires, engines and fuel, to ensure that equality and competition are maximized!
For more information please visit http://shifterkartchampionship.com/.
There are no membership fees and every racer entering will receive points and be able to participate in the SKC Season Points Championship. The points championship is still wide open and anyone attending has a legitimate chance at competing for a season championship!

F100 SoCal Round #5 is SATURDAY, JULY 2nd at Calspeed in Fontana, CA! BE THERE!

The points battles are heating up as the 2016 F100 SoCal passes the midway point at F100 SoCal Round #5, to be held Saturday, July 2nd at Calspeed Karting Center in Fontana, CA! This is a very exciting event for F100, as it is the first stand-alone event F100 has held at the Calspeed facility! F100 expects another large turnout in the traditional F100 Senior and Masters classes, as well as continued growth in all the other F100 classes. You don't want to miss it!

Please note that in order to help cover the higher cost associated with hosting a race at a facility such as Calspeed, F100 has added a few dollars to the price of race day entry and pit passes. We do our absolute best to keep prices as low as possible and with large turnouts and continued support we will be able to continue to lower costs and make racing as affordable and accessible as possible for our racers. We greatly appreciate your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

CHANGES TO PRE-ENTRY PROCESS FOR MEMBERS: In order to help F100 better prepare for events by providing more accurate and predictive entry numbers, F100 is also changing the registration policy for F100 Members. The discounted member entry price will now ONLY be available through PRE-ENTRY. All racers registering on race day will now pay the same price, regardless of their F100 membership status. This is not done as a punishment, but instead to encourage racers to pre-enter for events which will help F100 greatly in its hiring of race day staff, race day scheduling, and all the other things that go into putting on a top notch racing event for our racers!

F100 Driver Profile: Vincent Lefevre

Vincent Lefevre has been one of the biggest supporters of F100 since its inception and he truly embodies the F100 spirit of Pure Racing! Vince has ascended the ranks of the F100 license ladder system, first participating in the FK2 class with an inexpensive kart he purchased off Craigslist. At first, results were mixed for Lefevre, but he kept working at his craft, driving as much as he could and focusing his efforts on continued improvement and enjoyment of kart racing. It was not long before Vince tasted victory in the FK2 class! Vince is now the current championship points leader in the FK1 Masters class through the first 3 rounds of the F100 SoCal 2016 season, posting fast laps and podium results at each race! F100 would like to thank Vince for participating in our driver profile series!
